  • 500g potato
  • 400g cod
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 onions
  • 250ml cream
  • 500 ml of Pingo Doce bechamel
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of nutmeg
  • lemon drops
  • Pingo Doce grated mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil to taste

How to Make Cod with Cream for Easter Sunday


Preheat the oven to 200º C. Now cut the potatoes into slices and cook.


Place the cod in a pan with a bay leaf and cover it with water. Bring it to a boil over high heat, when it boils, lower the heat and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove the cod from the water and let it cool. Remove the skin and pimples and shred it into slivers.


In a pan, add oil to taste and sauté the onions, garlic and a bay leaf. Add the cod, stir and let it sauté a little.


Add the already cooked potatoes. Then add the béchamel sauce and the cream and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and lemon drops. Stir well, remove from pan and set aside.
