Well, do you know what puba is?

Even though many Brazilians do not know the meaning of the word, it is very well known among the inhabitants of the north/northeast region of the country.

Its name comes from the old type and means “mass extracted from fermented cassava”. Puba is the result of the natural fermentation of cassava roots, which is also called cassava or cassava, which happens with the action of microorganisms that contribute to the softening of these roots.

Simply put, puba looks very similar to tapioca gum, also has an acidic smell and a sour taste.

And precisely because it is a product obtained through the fermentation of cassava, it has several benefits that cassava flour or even raw cassava have.

Check out the advantages of puba pasta:

  • It is a completely natural product and gluten free;
  • It has low levels of fat and helps fight bad cholesterol;
