  • 1 cup chickpeas (chickpeas)
  • 1 chicken cut into pieces

  • 2 sweet peppercorns
  • 1 cinnamon stick

How to make Iakna: 

Cook the chickpeas together with the chicken. Meanwhile, sauté the large onions in butter. Then add the chicken and small onion, seasoned with salt, sweet pepper and cinnamon. Add the chickpeas (without the husk) and cover with the broth itself. Let it boil until everything is well cooked. Serve with Syrian rice.
