Potato cheese recipe


  • 6 tablespoons (soup) of mashed potatoes without milk;
  • 2 cups (tea) of sweet sprinkle;
  • 1 cup (tea) of sour starch;
  • 6 tablespoons of vegetable cream; 
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of salt;
  • 1 lemon juice.

Method of preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and knead with your hands until you get a homogeneous mass. Place the dough in a container with the shape of your choice greased with a little oil. Place in the fridge for 4 hours or until firm. When consuming the potato cheese, cut the slices and take it to a non-stick frying pan to brown and cook the sprinkles. Serve immediately and have a good meal!

Can this recipe be considered vegan or light/diet?

Despite not using milk, thus being less caloric than a normal cheese, this recipe still uses salt and potatoes, which are no longer a 100% light food by themselves, so this recipe would fit the title of vegan more than diet or light.
